Toyo Proxes R 888 R Semi Slick Xl
Semi-slick racing tyre · 205/45R17
Understand this tyre
The Toyo Proxes R is built for dry grip and precise handling, scoring top marks in both areas and beating category averages. Wet grip is its clear weakness — well below the category average and rated D on the EU label — so think carefully before using it in NZ's frequent rain. Comfort and noise are about average for the category, and there's no treadwear warranty.
- Drive a racing or track-focused car in dry conditions
- Enjoy spirited driving and want precise handling
- Prioritise dry grip above all else
- Need reliable performance in wet conditions
- Want a long-lasting tyre or a treadwear warranty
