Understand this tyre
If you drive a performance car, the Kumho Ecsta Sport PS72 is a summer tyre aimed squarely at you — Kumho bills it as its most technologically advanced ultra-high performance tyre to date. It sits in the middle price band across the sizes we track. Note that EU wet-grip ratings vary by size, from A down to D, so check the label for your specific size before buying.
- Drive a performance car and want a UHP summer tyre
- Want mid-tier pricing rather than premium money
- Drive a passenger car in mostly dry, warm conditions
- Need consistent wet grip — some sizes rate only D on the EU label
- Want a quiet tyre — 71-73 dB is relatively noisy
